What We Collect

Site analytics. We use a standard web analytics service that records the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and technical details about your browser and device. You can opt out by blocking third-party scripts in your browser.

Server logs. Our web server keeps standard logs of each request: IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We use them for security and troubleshooting.

Messages. If you write to us through the form on this site, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you put in the message. We keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and to run the site.

Case inquiries. If you ask us about a possible claim, we pass your message to a lawyer or law firm that may be able to help, so they can reply to you. We do not pass it to anyone else.

We do not run advertising on this site, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information above to build profiles of visitors.

Consumer Health Data

Consumer health data is information that says something about a person's health. Under Washington's My Health My Data Act that can include an interest in an injury from a drug or medical device, so information about how you use this site gets the Act's protections. Here is how we handle it:

Categories collected: the pages you view on this site, as recorded by our analytics provider, and anything you tell us about yourself when you contact us.

Sources: your browser, through the analytics scripts described above, and you, when you contact us.

Purpose: understanding how the site is used so we can improve it, and answering your questions.

Sharing: with our analytics provider, acting as our processor, and with the lawyer or law firm we pass your inquiry to, when you ask us about a possible claim, and with no one else. We do not sell consumer health data and do not share it for advertising.

Your rights: you may ask us to confirm whether we hold consumer health data about you, to see it, to have it deleted, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Use our contact page and put "Health data request" in your message. We will respond within 45 days.

Cookies

We do not set cookies of our own. Our analytics provider sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors. Blocking cookies in your browser stops analytics from running; the site still works. The site does not change its behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.

Writing to a Lawyer

Sending a message through this site does not make you a client and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Leave out confidential details until a lawyer has agreed in writing to take your matter. Nothing on this site is legal advice.

This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
